Halogy for those who want a simple, non-technical, multi-site publishing platform with modules like Blog and E-Commerce working right out of the box.
Where do I download Halogy?
You can try Halogy online for free by going to the try page. When you are ready to install Halogy on your own server you can download the core version which has instructions on how to install contained within the package.
Where do I get support?
You can get support from our support section and from our forums where you'll be able to interact with other Halogy users.
Where do I report bugs?
You can go to our Issue Tracker on BitBucket if you have any issues to report, or you can go to our forums if you want to discuss a particular issue.
Who are Halogy?
Halogy is a service provided by Haloweb Ltd - a UK based company that have been doing website development for over 10 years. Haloweb Ltd also provide other web applications too such as Project Bubble, an easy to use project management system. Haloweb Ltd has a growing team of motivated staff and is in profit.
Where do I get modules?
You can purchase modules from our shop or you can build your own modules and drop them in to the /halogy/application/modules folder. Each module has its own MVC structure. For more on this see the CodeIgniter and HMVC documentation.
How long will my free trial last?
You can set up a site on halogy.com for as long as you like. We don't like to set a limit on how long you can try Halogy out for, so take your time.
Can I brand Halogy as my own service?
Yes you can with certain limitations. All copyright information in the footer of the administration must be retained, but you can upload your company logo and make out that the software is yours but you are working 'in partnership with Halogy'.
Do you provide hosting?
We only provide hosting for the free trial sites at this time. Contact us if you're interested in hosting for your Halogy site with a custom domain.
Do you provide email?
No, not at this time. We prefer to leave email hosting to companies that are really good at it, such as Google Apps. As you'll only be pointing the website to us, you can keep your email hosted where-ever you like.
How do I put a trial site on to my server?
We can export your site for you. Just contact us and we will send you the export, or we can do this for you if you let us have access to your server.
